Changes due to Covid-19

The Open Bakery is open for business as usual but we have slightly shorter opening hours:

Monday – Saturday, 7a.m. – 4.30p.m.

We have a full risk assessment for the current covid situation, which we review on a regular basis and in keeping with current government advice and updates.

We are operating a delivery service which may be very helpful to you if you are currently self isolating. We deliver to BN2 Friday mornings. We have a very strict policy on delivery procedures to maximise customer safety. Order here at the online shop.

To keep customers and staff safe, shop staff are wearing masks. Location marks for the queue are laid out on the pavement to help distancing. We are still observing the 2 metre rule for this. Customers are allowed in the shop 3 at a time, please wait to be called in and face coverings are encouraged.  Delivery drivers are asked to only enter if 2 customers or less are in the shop area.  Shop staff help customers to products, as opposed to self service, to avoid the risk of cross contamination.

We ask customers to keep distance with other people.  With masks, stay at least 2m away from other customers in the shop

We encourage customers to shop on their own, where possible.  We currently are not excepting cash to help minimise contact.

Customers may like to pre-order to help speed up the queue and waiting time within the shop.
